I propose asteroid # 90124 be named Kris Squier for maximum confusion.
Don't give the IAU any ideas. They'll be calling 90126 Billy Squier before you know it. Right after they re-file Pluto as a planet.

As this was my song of the day for that thread, Candlebox's "Change" was written by frontman Kevin Martin while he was at his then girlfriend's house while he was standing in his underwear flipping through TV channels tripping on shrooms.
Could be. Lots of odd personnel combinations in British bands in the early '70's. A few Foghat members were in Savoy Brown together. Nick Jameson (who played bass on Fool For The City and produced some early Foghat LPs) was an actor on the TV series 24, as well a successful voice over actor.
Larry Junstrom, who was the bassist for .38 Special from 1977 to 2014, was a founding member of Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Toni Tennille of The Captain & Tennille fame and Bruce Johnston of The Beach Boys both sang backing vocals on Pink Floyd's The Wall album.
The Captain & Tennille met when they were both members of the Beach Boys touring band.
In 1967 Jimi Hendrix was the opening act for The Monkees.

Before forming The Four Seasons, Bob Gaudio, was a member of The Royal Teens, best known for their hit singles "Short Shorts," which was a #3 hit in the United States in 1958 and "Believe Me," a hit #26 in 1959.
Fourteen-year-old member Al Kooper sometimes appeared with the Royal Teens on the road in 1959, and later founded the groups The Blues Project and Blood, Sweat, & Tears. Billy Crandall would join The Knickerbockers in 1964, using the name Buddy Randell, and would sing lead vocal on the group's top-20 hit "Lies" in 1966.
