Updated Amazon Deals Part II

Tasty, I agree with you. I doubt that they had 40 of these in their warehouse...so it could have been
a: them trying to hit an Aguilar quota (doubtful),
b: Aguilar trying to get the product they want to move and sell the most into the hands of their best salesman with the largest audience (us), or
c: maybe it was an error that may or may not come to fruition to us.

Normally, I have seen Amazon cancel incorrect orders pretty quickly, so hopefully some of these will come through. Worst case is that each of us ends up with a massive discount offer on the cab....which will most definitely double the sale price (we all jumped on) of the cab. The price was up for awhile so I really think it was a viable price.

2 months ago they had the SKB Mini Rig for $170 which is $180 off its retail price at any online vendor. Sometimes Amazon has some crazy prices....hopefully that is the case!!

Not to be downer, but so that people don't get their hopes too high... The above was NOT my experience. I waited about 5 months on the Warwick I ordered and even received periodic updates on shipping. Then I was simply told they could no longer honor the advertised price. Same happened with something else but I don't remember the details. If you get the cabs, great and I'm hoping you all do. I'd just forget about though and not even give it another though.

I'm gonna have to take credit for this one Gentlemen. You see, I practice this thing called "The Secret" and a day later, good news arrives! ;)

In any event - My order says "Shipping Now" but my arrival date is "New estimated arrival date: September 04, 2013 - September 09, 2013" So I hope they come. The good news is that my Amazon card is in the process of being debited.

Not sure if that was serious or not, but...

I believe it was about a decade ago, when Bongos were about to be introduced, there was no way I could possibly afford one. At that time I was reading a lot of "new age" stuff, and having a go at practicing the principles. I put a Bongo in my sights, and let go of any idea of lack. Gave stuff away to people (even an SX bass to a kid who used to help me at shows), and a few months later I wind up with an EB endorsement that I never expected. I've had 2 more Bongos since, plus a Big Al, Stingray, Sterling, and about 20 other non MM basses. :) Even had a custom bass, built to my specs, given me for free (the bass in the video below), not too long after starting to practice those principles.

Yeah, that stuff seems flaky, even ridiculous to some, but when things work I don't question them anymore. The only tricky part of all that is I've learned we really need to learn to also align ourselves with what it is we truly need and/or desire. I could write lots of about this stuff, but so many others already have. I completely believe that we create our own reality. Consciously, or unconsciously - the choice is nonetheless ours.

Curious if there's any correlation between when orders were placed, and which ones were updated with earlier delivery dates. Perhaps orders placed earlier are more likely to have had this happen....? Just a theory...
