Strings came. They only sent 2 of the 3 sets I ordered (in separate packages). Both sets had mangled packages. One inner package was still "sealed", yet had a bunch of holes torn in it. Other set's inner package was torn open and the B string is missing. Shady practices, GoHastings...

Packaging on mine was taped shut but the plastic bag with the strings looked ok.

I have the WTX260 which has the same power and I thought with a 112 Mesa cab it was a little light on volume too. When I plugged it into a Ampeg Classic 410 cab it did well with a full band. No issues keeping up with a moderately loud drummer and two guitars. I paid more than this Amazon price used ere on TB. Nice deal!

That's a lot more amp over the GK MB200!

Very poor reviews and reliability issues with this model in particular... maybe they are bunk but I remember reading a bunch of stuff about this guy

Good price though

BTW: I recharged my cart with gear to hopefully catch more deals

GK MB200 is $250, you can take off 15% anytime, its way more reliable, not discontinued & GK customer service is the real deal. Eden was sold to Marshall who wants nothing to do with this model... this and the 500 model just had too many problems. I tried to talk myself into these amps & even this model many times. It would still have to go much lower for me to take a flyer & consider it a throw away if it went kaput. The GK MB200 price point is too close to this

I didn't know Eden discontinued their WTX line. Their web site shows them still available. I realize I didn't put the IMO, IMHO, IME in that last post. I didn't wish to come across as trolling. I don't care to debate which one is better for everyone between the MB200 and WTX264 but IMHO after having both, cost being the same, (which at the time they were not) the Eden has more features, more power, and I preferred the Eden DI. No buzzing or grounding issues as some have reported with the GK's. I remember reading some great reviews for both and also some unhappy customers of both.

I still think Eden would have to warranty any new product sold in the US or Canada by law.

Texas has to pay Taxes now on all Amazon.com purchased items.

Bummer.

Supposedly this will happen in California in September.

Bad move, spells the end for me and Amazon -- not that they ever have the kind of deals they did a year or two ago anyway.

GC/MF/M123 screwing this up ended me buying from them as well.

No long deals, tax added. What's to love?

My gear buying has dropped off to nothing.

All I've bought so far this year are some strings and a blowout small studio guitar amp from SamAsh.Com...About $120, total.
