Uploading pics to TB

I have roughly a 50-60% success rate uploading pics to TB. Obviously there's something I'm missing, as I see very nice, relatively hi-res looking pics all over this forum. I take great care to make my pics fit the specs--well within it in fact, to the point of usually looking crappy lo-res. I clean out my attachments to make sure there's room, etc. etc.
Is it a PC vs. Mac thing?(I'm on Mac OS10.5.7). Half the time I try to upload a pic, it just hangs there in the upload process endlessly. Sometimes I'll go back the next day and try the exact upload and . . . it works. It's weird.
Anybody have any suggestions?

Hi.

What Ziltoid said: Photobucket.

While I'd like to be able to view all the pics, all the time, that would require enormous power and bandwidth from the TB server(s). That's the reason for the limit on attachment size and quantity.

The problem with Photobucket and like is that if the provider or the user removes the pic or changes its location, the link is severed and the pic won't show anymore. The same happens if a firewall or similar prevents that said providers traffic on Your system.
