Usable Triple-Double J Build?

You went the hard way, looks like the enamel method. I cheated and went with the "Magic Marble" method -
One thing I learned right away, a hair dryer works way better and faster than paper towels.

I was determined to figure out the "secret"...
At the time, there was no clear "how-to" guide on the borax method so I search and pieced it together.
I had seen Magic Marble but don't recall it having the color selection I was hoping for...

EXACTLY! I watched so many of his dips. But it was crazy hard to find a straightforward "how to" video or post.
You have to use the right kind of enamel paint and Dean thins his and I don't know how or to what consistency.
I used Humbrol model paints and the light the color the better it floated... Metallics sank, oh and wood floats LOL
All put together. Apart from the baseball bat neck, its great! Thanks for following!

Holidays mostly over, lets see if I can epoxy this body w/o any seams or drips!
Well, I thought I'd mixed in enough of the pearl white to be truly opaque... but looks like this is going to be "sparkly relic'd" lol

That's a heck of a fingerboard radius! I like the use of 2 massive frets in the upper register.

LOL! I had to come up with a way to rotate the body so that I could continually move epoxy all over to avoid seams remove excess.
I'm glad I went mono-color on this as doing any kind of "art" would have been a PITA!
I am torn... I like the effect but hate that I muffed the base coat.
I REALLY don't want to have to fix this...
Good news and better news... and some bummer news...
Good news: I was feeling bummed about the visible wood on the body so I sanded it it enough for more primer/epoxy to bite and touched up the spots where the wood is visible. Now, the primer is kinda visible if you look closely, but it is LOADS better than before!
Better News: As I was re-applying the epoxy, I decided I didn't want it to just white, so I added in interference colors on the three thin coats I applied. Interference colors show as undertones over a white surface, giving a "color shift" effect when you angle the surface just right. So now the body subtly changes color with some blues and violets
...Oh and more diamond dust, of course!
Bummer News: I can't figure out how to show this cool effect in pics or video yet... It doesn't to catch the effect like the human eye...

...you've been putting ground-up Vampires in your epoxy coatings? Kewl. Sparkly, but can't be seen by a camera. Probably doesn't show up in a mirror, either. Sounds about right...
Lol the sparkles can be seen, its the blue/violet sheen that doesn't pick up well...
Besides, do you have any idea how expensive ground vampire is?!?!
