VT Bass DI available?

I have confirmed with Tech21 that the mid center frequency on the VT Bass DI, as all the other VT products, is indeed 1KHz. They tell me that this is a part of the "personality" of the VT stuff, and that their manuals and specs will be updated.

Taking "BASSIST's advice and going with the TH...

"eublet"s comparison of the Para driver and the TH nailed it for me.

Gotta have the parametric mid.

Done as much research as I can without actually having one in hand. I believe it will fit what I want better, plus I already have a PBDI, and it may end for sale after I finally get the TH.

They are difficult to come by, too, though.

I hear they are finally shipping.

Try BestBassGear.

Although I have decided to go with something else, I still support Tech21NYC in all they do.
I also note that the product I ultimately decided on is also made in the USA.
As is every bass or amp I own.

I strongly encourage all Americans to do the same.

I ordered mine in the beginning of May and I just got it yesterday "August 12th"
I haven't tried it yet but it looks nice. Lol
I bought it through BestBassGear.com
They told me there was an issue with the paint.

Look, they do exist!!!
I have not tried it out yet, will get to it shortly!

Comes in a nice tin also, like most Tech21.

:hyper:

Yeah, well you just never know what those Sweetwater guys are up to. :ninja: I mean, I told him I wanted one, I just didn't think I actually ordered one since I didn't pay for it (at the time). Don't even really need it now that I've had JohnK build me a bangin Ginger, but I guess I'll see what the VT stuff is all about.

Just got mine. Nice unit. Crunchy as all heck. Pretty darn good Ampeg emulation, and seems high quality. Nice options/functions (i.e., ability to boost output to drive a power amp with either the DI out or the 1/4 output, etc.). Dig it.
