Sorry the pedal didn't work out for you. When you say the VT Bass made the other pedals before it "pop" did you have the VT Bass engaged and how was it set? Was it set for distortion, was the pedal set up for unity gain?
The reason I ask is that if the pedal was set up to boost or distort your signal, anything ahead of it will be amplified including any noise or pops from other pedals. Were the other pedals true bypass or buffered?
If this is the case you will experience the same issue with the DK Vintage Microtubes.
Has anybody used the XLR output yet? I only have one XLR cable at home, but so far one out of one cables won't fit in the socket. Hopefully it's my cable, though I've never had any trouble with it before.
Tech21NYC, are your pedals designed with a resistance between the power jack ground and the signal ground?

I asked because a while ago one of our customers had an issue with noise and pops when using one of your Sansamp pedals with one of my pedals when daisy-chained powered.
The FEA pedals bond the power and signal grounds together. When daisy-chained powered with the Sansamp pedal, the FEA pedal was providing the power ground path for the Sansamp pedal through the signal ground that was causing the noise issues. If I remember correctly the customer measured over 200 ohms between the power ground and signal ground on the Sansamp resulting in nearly all of the Sansamp power flowing through the signal patch cable, through the FEA PCB grounds back to the power supply.
The solution I suggested to the customer was to use separate or isolated power supplies. He tried that and the problems were solved.

I would have to run that info by our engineer. We in general don't recommend daisy chain digital switching power supplies with our products. They will work but we have received way too many complaints from end users and have experienced issues first hand. It would be cheaper for us to use those supplies but they aren't the best idea in audio circuits. I have one at home and sometimes just plugging the supply into the same power strip will cause my tube amps to get noisey and that is not even using the supply with an effect.

It is a possible there was some malfunction in the pedal. It's hard to say without testing it first hand. We do test every pedal before they ship. There are so many variables. Every VT pedal you tried produced this popping? The non DI versions?
It sounds like a VT Bass. Just with extra top end via the Bite switch: think of that like a third notch on the speaker sim, if that makes sense. The sound is bright with the Speaker switch up, but gets more high end roll off when you push it down...the bite switch is like you went the other way with the switch and got even more high end.

No, just the VT Bass DI.
Yes, I do use a OneSpot. Total of 5 pedals when the VT DI was connected. Never was an issue with previous VT Bass' or the current BDDI, or any other pedal for that matter.
It is advisable to use a
separate power adapter or an outlet on a multiple outlet power adapter with
electrically isolated outlets for the Lehle Dual SGoS, but with no other loads
connected to it, to avoid interference noise during operation or when switching
