Anyone know what the standard neck radius on a 1990 Mk2 5 string would be? I can't seem to find it, anywhere. Thanks.

I may be totally wrong, but I think the 13 is a joke going around....and even supplied by Wal. Not with malice...just teasing....
I've never heard of a bass with a 13 radius....and it may be a teasing answer to a much asked question....when the actual standard radius is 12.

This is the email Paul sent me when I bought my custom MKIII. These words are not mine, came directly from Paul.
"Fingerboard radius is a personal preference. Standard Wal radius is 13 inches on 4 and 5 strings and 16 inches on 6 strings. Anything other than these will be + £120. I would suggest 16 has this will be flatter than what you already have."
I measured all of mine. I have a large set of radius measuring tools and it does not contain a 13"

Says it's a 1993 with a hornbeam neck, didn't they run out of their supply around 1990?

No, probably more like mid 2000. I had a Feb/2000 bass that still had a hornbeam neck.
Actually, on second thought, 12" is the fingerboard radius, right? What is the measurement for the back of the neck? In other words, if I'm having a neck built that would feel similar to my MKII 5, what measurements would I need?
