Here's a MkI for reference on bodies, but looking at the two 5ers, Mk II and Mk III, the Mk III appears to have a longer horn with similar body sizes.

I'm still fairly ignorant in the world of Wals, and I'm not looking to disparage your choices, but these are very special basses, to think you dropped that kind of money on a unique Mk2 without doing any research, let alone know the difference between only 3 model types (all of which are described and photographed on Wal's website) is somewhat disconcerting.

Yeppers..I actually helped the owner acquire it and his 2nd Wal. (So he owes me lol)

Interesting, both olivewood and olive ash though different species, look nearly identical and are from the same family of tree.

I see nothing wrong with. He jumped on it without hesitation. If he waited, it prob would've went to someone else. I'd have to agree with Mike and say he hit a home run too

Btw that reminds me. If any Wal owners are missing misc screws on their electronic plate or pick ups PM me. I got ones I swapped out since they were a bit worn/stripped. I guess it would be better then a hole
They are an "un"-usual size so you can't really find exact ones in a hardware store.
