That Violet bass I never should have let go. I miss it dearly now, esp owning it twice. Hopefully I can get it back again sometime.

Wow, a black stained Wal, with sycamore facings? Or is that maple? Love it, I'd tossed around that exact combo when I was considering placing a new order, looks great.

It's actually violet over flamed maple

I believe the violet Mk I was last owned by Bassman5001- who got the last 4 string Mk II that was sold on TB (the one "touched by JC"). Not sure where it is now..... Agreed though that is a special looking bass

As Dean said, flamed maple/ebony/gold. It is the infamous color changing Wal; while the finish pigment has faded lighter over the years, it also photos darker indoors and lighter outdoors.

Bassman5001 sold it when he got his MkII, but I dont know to who.

On a business trip, brought me a little souvenir from a trip across the pond...
Olive facings with red gloss - but you can see the details of the wood, Mahogany body..

Now waiting for my MKII order to be completed has become a little more bearable.

Nice!!! I'd have to agree and say great company during wait!!! Congrats....curious is this the same bass that was on basschat??

By comparing the two pics side by side I would say definitely same bass
