Howdy all, latest update on my MKI:
Paul sent shots of a couple of the standard maple facings with light flame. Definitely preferring no#1's more even distribution of flame. I also asked Paul to take a look around the shop and let me know if he has any facings that he's just in love with and offered to let him do a "chef's choice" provided it's within reason.

If your going after maple flame...I would request something like this??

TMB's maple is really nice. When I originally spec'd it, I asked for the standard grade maple which was no up charge. Getting a nicer piece will definitely cost more, but I'm not ruling it out.

Btw, anyone know what the latest wait time on a build is? Last I heard was 19 but that was months ago!
not sure on current wait time... but you're correct I'm about 2.5 months away. I placed my order March 4, 2013. He's thinking beginning of October, so that would work out to 17 mos.

With that Wal bass I must say.... He's got a force field and a flexible plan. He's got a date with fate in a black sedan. He plays fast forward for as long as he can, but he won't need a bed, he's a.................. Digital man.
