I was thinking of doing the same thing (going to pick it up) my wife and co workers thought I was crazy glad to see someone else done this congrats as well!
if you've got time, do it. shipping is crazy expensive. about 500 bucks the way Paul sends it. if you've got flyer miles or can get a deal on a flight it's probably worth it. Especially if you can make a little vacation out of it. I just didn't have time with work stuff going on.

Yeah that is what I said to my wife might as well get a vacation out of it. I already have a 5 string Wal MK3 I want a 4 string MK2 it in a birds eye maple facing I emailed Paul about the build and said 22 months so at least you have time to plan it out like a vacation that way. Unfortunately I do not have flyer miles so I have to shell out im guessing at least over 1,000 bucks for 2 people round trip from Buffalo NY to London.

Ok, rather than spamming with a lot of pics all at once, let's take our time and let the story unfold. This was my trip to Wal Mecca, and I want you to share in every step of the journey.

This trip started at the airport. I hate long lines. Yes, I got stuck behind one guy and had to walk six feet to the right to check in with a different attendant. Look at the chaos!
