Hahaha you can say that again. There were several others who went after that JG, within hours, and kulit17 somehow swooped in! He deserves it.... been hearing about him going after one for so long! Wal Ninja is right....and I am his apprentice. Teach me the ways !Good luck on that!! @kulit17 is a Wal Ninja
ohhhh Danielson, you must earn the right to swoop like a Wal Ninja! It takes years of practice .....and stretching - lotssss of stretching - you can see from Mr Miagi, i mean @kulit17 (aka...Wal Ninja's) photo, that he is scratching his back with his sword prior to stretching...then he with crack his fingers and attack his keyboard with a vengence....he searches the globe on an hourly basis...then his wife makes him a Ninja sammich - ingredients unknown....the old Wal masters say its a mahogany bun and lemon oil ...only Wal Ninjas know this secret.Hahaha you can say that again. I use High Beams on everything except the midi (it requires nickels).
But I never have the knobs maxed and pulled, that's waaayyy too sizzly! but then again I use Mesa Boogie amps, which are known for their brightness.
Maybe it's time to get away from Ampeg?![]()
Checking out a Eden wt800 tonight. My tone is a mix between failure and anthrax so its fairly aggressive with lots of attack. this is a ruff new track from my band
So i borrowed 2 eden wt800's. One was one a 98 wt800A so really early and the other was a wt800C rev. The C sounded better to my ears. The compressor seemed more musical and the A seemed more squished. The C also had more heft to the note and was louder. The C has an upgraded power section among other things. Unfortunately the C died after about 25 min of playing. The A seems all around lack luster compared to the A and now i have a slight bad taste. So i think the eden stuff isn't for me and I'm going to try the GK2001rb next.
Welp I bit the bullet and put Hi beams on the wal. Something is lacking in the lows or low mids and it didn't seem as prominent as it was before. I'm going to take them back off and put them on my Ric. looks like nickel strings are what she likes.
........and off goes the Wal Ninja (@kulit17)Amazing condition Proiie available on Facebook Wal page for a decent price... as well as an ‘83 in pretty good condition. Unfortunately, no fretless.
