What's the difference between this one and the other Wal bass Lovers Facebook page? What did you miss in that Group?

What's the difference between this one and the other Wal bass Lovers Facebook page? What did you miss in that Group?
Just trying to create a page with true verified Wal owners. The public group is great... I had an idea to make something more exclusive. That's all it is!
It may seem redundant and unnecessary to some... but, for instance, I would rather have a debate over the price of used Wal's right now with Wal owner's themselves instead of arguing with somebody random that is stirring the pot.
I think on the Wal bass Lovers page most people also own a Wal or are seriously interested in buying one. Maybe 80% or so. But that's just a wild guess. For me personally I would rather have them all in one page instead of spread out over multiple pages.
It's still a really funny thing to me the constant focus on prices and the market for Wals. I am a pretty active member of the Warwick community and price/market makes up very little of discussion. I know of late that the prices have increased and trends are always like this but if you look at the prices of most modern custom basses it really isnt that different, most of whom do not handmake anywhere close to how much is made by Wal. Warwicks prices are very high for more mass produced instruments but still there is little content on this at all.. I priced building a brand new full custom Warwick and it was almost the same as my Wal order...

Ya it tends to always be the same few who talk/complain about the costs etc.
I have three Warwicks (probably owned 10 in total)...you are right...new prices are high..used priced...bad. The beauty of the Wal brand, buy one..if ya dont like it, sell by dinnertime.
Buy what ya like and can afford ...play it and enjoy life. We're not here for long.
I don't know what the point of debating the used prices is... if someone out there will buy it, that's what the market is...

Some things are getting a bit nauseating because it seems there are now more folks on there that wish to find one, but then really be vocal and complain about the price of every single one that comes up for sale. And a step further, if a member posts one available, they're calling that member out and compain in that very for sale post.
Also personal attacks are starting to pop up.
You can't do that here on Talkbass; rules say you cannot question the sellers price or post negatively in their thread, and that you are to take it to private message for pricing if really interested.
And threats and attacks get you either suspended or banned.
I really like the Wal Lovers Page, its great, but really feel some ground rules need to be set in place.
I'm seeing the same folks over and over complain, and some who openly never intend on buying one seem to be only there complain too. It seems folks just don't know how to simply take the high road.
Certainly thinking about how to approach it. Seriously thinking about changing the status to private and maybe a period of heavier modding...
Excited to be getting a fretless built. I've played enough Wals over the years to know what I like/dislike/etc. TB and FB have been great in helping me focus my priorities, thanks all! 
Agreed will all points above!!! you can debate, cry, be sad about it....have regrets of procrastinating on getting one.....whatever it may be about it all year long.... but supply and demand will never change. It's crazy to think that it can be controlled.
My pet peeve about the FB group lately is the same..... i also didn't like how people post Wal fakes on the group with a Wal logo on the headstock and touting it sounds the same and then some "guy" defending him and degrading me for the amount I own....as if the knows me. Oh well - blocking was my friend on that

There a bit of envy involved in those posts. Just like the guys that once in a while used to pop up with the "why would you ever pay $14K for a so and so bass" or "Why are custom basses so expensive" or "My Squier is better than your Fodera" to name a few oldies but goodies.
Don't take the bait is the remedy for me.
Staying out of the cesspool that is social media is the remedy for me.
Not sure why people do this, idk, I guess they must feel that they need to be heard, I'm not interested in making someone feel bad about what they want or like.
Also I feel the affirmation provided in this group is of sound logic.
