No, it's not a Pro, its a Mk1.
The earliest Custom 2P (AKA Mk1) used up leftover neck plates. You'll find many PB plates and even a few JG plates.

Agreed, but a quick body sand/refin and she’ll be ready to dance in no time. Still, a bit pricey IMO.

It breaks my heart to see these prices for beaten up Wals (and not beaten up Wals too). It somehow makes me not interested in Wal bass sales anymore. It spoils the fun of Wal basses in general for me. Not sure why but it has this effect on me. It’s becoming too much a hype that is totally out of proportion.

...you think THIS is blown out of proportion?..imagine the old school Fender guys who bought the preCBS for 100 bucks and they sell for tens of thousands!! Eeekkk
