I look at it like it was a great investment!It breaks my heart to see these prices for beaten up Wals (and not beaten up Wals too). It somehow makes me not interested in Wal bass sales anymore. It spoils the fun of Wal basses in general for me. Not sure why but it has this effect on me. It’s becoming too much a hype that is totally out of proportion.

Ah, ty, yeah the neckplate fooled me.No, it's not a Pro, its a Mk1.
The earliest Custom 2P (AKA Mk1) used up leftover neck plates. You'll find many PB plates and even a few JG plates.
After 30 years of wishing, I'm so excited to finally own one of these gorgeous instruments.
