Dark figured walnut. I specified 4kg to match my Stingray, feels nice and balanced too. Neck is quite satin in finish which is a nice surprise.
Ok that dark walnut looks really nice. There are so many shades of walnut. It looks really different from the walnut fretless mk1 that I have.
Folks not in the Wal Facebook group, be aware of this eBay listing that has a number of red flags (zero-feedback seller, lifted pictures, not shipping until August, etc). If you have bid on this, consider withdrawing the bid. The not shipping until August may be to run out chargeback time limits with PayPal and/or eBay?

I have been getting a lot of people asking me about this one. It’s 100% a scam. I sold this bass about 2-3 weeks ago. I’ve contacted eBay to inform them it’s a scam and they are using my photos. I’ve received no response. It’s unfortunate but ebay and Reverb are being flooded with this stuff.

Absolutely gorgeous congratulations! Always love everyone’s NBD from Fender to Fodera but a Wal takes it to another level. The meticulous detail in which Paul packs the bass, dealing with customs, and the build time. Nothing like seeing pics or watching a video of someone unboxing a Wal.

Mine is £495 but I’m doing black tuners. Only gold hardware is on the body.
Marching back cover of course! Black tuners with gold hardware on the body. Edge lines top and bottom. The wood is ebony.
When did you place your order?
I put deposit on mine on jan ‘21 and no news yet
Mine was all gold, I made sure I also got gold control plate screws instead of black like he's usually been doing for 6 or so years now.

Last month I paid off my current order. I placed it Oct 1st 2020.
He responded saying he is a little behind.
But Im still thinking it wil be about 36/37 months.
i placed mine in august of 2020. I paid my balance about 4 weeks ago. He said it should be around 7 weeks once I paid my invoice. So I think I should be getting it in about a month. But it could be a little longer. I’m going to order a second one soon
