I’ve been considering a Warmoth build for a while now. What’s everyone’s favorite finish? I’m thinking of building a bass that’s inspired by the Modulus Flea Basses (using a graphite neck from Status), and was debating between a flake/sparkle finish (such as black holo flake) which stays true to the Modulus Flea style, but I also like the idea of a quilted maple top with Aquamarine Dye

I did mine in a similar vein except I used a Warmoth Macassar Ebony neck/fingerboard and a mahogany Dinky P body with an upgraded (5A) carved quilt top with amber dye. It's my #1.
They do great work!

Here's a Warmoth blue dye on flamed maple that I ordered.

Just a shame they aren't doing any builds during the shutdown. I 100% get it, but it'd be nice to be able to have a project during the Shelter in Place stuff

Been looking for the right fretless 5 for a while, and it seems I might have to build it myself. I like that warmoth does 17.5 spacing.

I'm thinking wenge neck with ebony board, mahogany body with flame maple top. Bartolini j pups all passive.

Obviously they will probably have quite a back log when they open back up,so it'll probably be awhile before I can put something together.

But a man can dream

Just got these in last night. I was surprised, didn't expect anything to come in until they opened back up. Didn't even get an email saying that had shipped, not even mad, haha. So excited to get this started! I just need a couple more things to come in and I'll be set.

Just got these in last night. I was surprised, didn't expect anything to come in until they opened back up. Didn't even get an email saying that had shipped, not even mad, haha. So excited to get this started! I just need a couple more things to come in and I'll be set.

I was this -> <- close to ordering two necks I don't need. And then today Warmoth shut down their order page. Can't order anything now.

How did you get them to do the reverse P pickup layout? Or did you do that?

You have to do is ask. I said to keep the original P location and just flip the coils. No extra charge on a new body.
