I just picked up a p&p smalls. Does anyone know what the trimpots inside correspond to? They are in a different orientation than the manual and v1 big box. Thanks!

I ended up just futzing around and finding some sounds I like. That'll have to work in the meantime. Thanks John.

Shooot. Just made a TB account today and I'm now I'm finding out (from this thread) about these P&P issues that I was previously unaware of :'( Mine will allegedly come in the mail tomorrow. Is anyone out there happy with the Smalls + either way, what settings are you running? This will be my first ever non-Zoom B3 pedal and I'm looking for a good place to start.

Is the clean tone dial on the outside of the P and P the same as the one on the inside of the Pork Loin? On the Pork Loin, on one extreme you have flat bass and boosted treble, in the other direction is boosted bass and reduced treble. On the Pork Loin, I tend to find that no position of that dial is exactly what I want, which is reduced treble and flat bass response. I'm hoping the clean tone on the P and P functions like a tone knob on a bass, where it only reduces treble while keeping the bass the same.
I’ve recently got a pork and pickle. It sounded pretty good coming out of my amp, however when going into a very nice sound system at my church, the bottom end is virtually non existent. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there any internal tweaking I can do? I’m stacking it on top of a Harmonic booster and B7K with low end pushed.
I kept it stacked at rehearsal last night solely because I was thinking that the EQ of the previous pedals would push the low end of the p&p. I am a pretty new bass player and have only had pedals a few weeks so I really don’t know if my line of thinking is correct….? My HB is an always-on pedal, do you think disengaging the B7K will help the p&p keep its low end?
Low end loss hasnt really been a large documented issue with the pork pedals.
I certainly put it in the ‘classic p with hair’ tonal camp- so if you are playing EDM, nu-metal or some other super extended bass heavy style, it might not suit.
Ive owned 3 pork loins and have a P&P on the way- its pretty amazing at what it does.
(clean preamp clipping issue aside)
Unbeknownst to most,
The P&P is capable of running at 18V (safely).
This helps clean up the clipping issue.

Neither my brain nor my wallet needed to know that... An 18v Pork Loin sounds like tonal bliss to me!
