If you can tell me how to reproduce the problem, I can test it.Can anyone report whether they sorted the clean blend clipping issue in the newer Smalls version? Not keen on running 18v.

I had originally written this pedal off, as I just wasn't getting a sound out of it I vibed with. Put it on my board tonight after a new fuzz I picked up came in defective, and found that when it's after a DG Harmonic Booster, it starts singing wonderfully to my ears. I had a hard time putting down the bass tonight, and I haven't had that feeling with a pedal since I picked up my POG2. Hoping it sits well in the mix when I get it to rehearsal next week.
Fuzz side, drive at 11, tone full, clean blend at about 1030, clean tone off. Sounds fantastic.IME, there is a fairly narrow range of adjustments to the various controls which gives me a usable tone, but man, it really does sound great in that narrow range!![]()

It is, Indeed, the Pickle. The "Pickle" is Russian, no? Makes me more intrigued by this pedal. I love the Pork Loin (modded, it's my favorite OD ever) and the Swollen Pickle and Russian have recently been added to my arsenal and are replacing my more expensive fuzzes. Loving them both! If this "Russian Pickle" has different options than the standard, I may have to keep my eyes peeled for one.

Does anybody know if the Pork side has the JohnK mod built in? There were always rumors of that mod being made stock at some point, but don't think it ever happened.
And has anyone ever done a head to head of the Pickle side against the Russian Pickle?
Thanks. Happy to hear that before curiosity got the better of my wallet.Yep, to me it sounded nothing like the Russian Picke. That would have been great as you could have both available but the lack of headroom on the Pork side and the Pickle side being not very pickly led me to sell mine. I still have the Russian.
I haven’t touched any of the pots. First time it’s ever been opened. Hope it helps.Anyone have the factory settings on the pork side trim pots? I’ve dialed my way into oblivion
Pickle side works great!
Also adding my love for this pedal.
I tweaked it for a while, before finding my "sweet spot".
Run at 12V. Pork side curve and presence trimpots dimed, clean blend/tone at noon, volume and gain around noon, tone set to taste.
Going head-to-head with an MBD-2, it can approximate a number of the low-to-mid gain settings I love on the MBD-2.
None that I've noticed.Have you had any issues running it at 12v longterm?
What do you mean?A clipping somewhere.
