I don't think I've heard about that guy since the 90's. Guess he didn't get any cooler in the intervening decades.
I found my driver's hat in a store near white river vt, in 2000, The hat has ear flaps that come in handy on those cold days.

Always. A proper headwear is an outstanding tool of player's personalization 
I never looked good in hats. I had to be fitted for a racing helmet, and that is when the light bulb went off .... I have a giant noggin! Started trying XXL-sized hats and it got a lot better. Proper size makes a difference.
Just what kind of a stage presence does your band have? Is there footage on Youtube?
A few of you might not know the origin of the phrase “mad as a hatter”. The hat makers (hatters) somehow used mercury when shaping the hats. The mercury absorbed through their skin and damaged their brains, making them insane. Talk about hazardous working conditions!.

No mercury required to lose one's sanity at work in these modern times. All that is required is agreeing to work for corporate. Spoken for truth. 
I believe @Killed_by_Death also knows the insanity that was EDS .... Well at least I didn't have to wear a hat to work there. The dress code, though, was right out of Terry Gilliam's Brazil.

I lived in Luton (UK) for a number of years....
It was known as a hat making town back in the day....(particularly Boaters and other straw hats)....
The nickname of Luton Town Football Club is still "The Hatters".....
You can see a Boater on the top of their crest...

I hadn’t seen that one for awhile. I like A&C, poor old Lou taking it on the chin again. Never cared for the Marx brothers even though I admire harpo’s harp playing. The three stooges are my favourite though. It’s said that Larry’s left cheek was numb from taking the repeated slaps. I plan on breaking in my new vaporizer Saturday night while watching the stooges
