Wearing hats while playing; yes or no?

I will wear a bandana skull cap on occasion. I do have a cool winter white camo kinda cowboy kinda ozzie hat. I never wore it but if I was to wear one, that would be it.
My head is shaved and I look a lot like Rob Halford, so I go with that almost always. It's most fun to hear the Halford references I get from people.

I haven't taken my hat off since I was allowed to wear one. Except for a few special occasions....
The one in my avatar. Always, without exception. My former BL hated it, preferred I wear a Fedora but I'll never wear one of those.

I purposely joined a 2nd project because i knew with these gender flexi players (3 gals & another dude, by nature), pants would be totally optional

No. When I was in a band, we were all Gis, playing in enlisted (and occasionally officer's) clubs on bases; regulations said (in militar-ese) "no hats inside, unless you're armed". And, since regulations also said you had to wear a hat unless you were inside, wearing one wasn't high on our "Like" list, anyway. If I was in a band today? I don't think I would, actually. I've been the product of a "no hats inside" culture so long, it just feels ... weird... when I do. I could probably get over it, though; if the price was right...
