How come no 6s to round out your bongo collection... Really dig the green with red flames bongo. By any chance does anyone have pictures of the bongo that was auctioned of on ebay for charity? it was a 5er with no pickguard and not a solid color like most bongos.

That is one hell of a good deal. I wouldn't sell any of my fivers for that!
TY, I was VERY pleased with the price! Say what you want about GC, but they are selling used instruments for some very good prices at the moment. I also just picked up an MTD KZ-6 fretless from them for $699.99! The asking price on this one was 999 btw, but they readily agreed to my offer. Just goes to show,..never hurts to ask! 
I'd suggest a morning of cruising their used gear list on their site. There were half a dozen more real "buys" that I was severely tempted to jump on. Can't wait for this one to arrive.

Dear fellow Bongo-holics! What softcase do you recommend to use with a 5-stringed Bongo? Let's state is this way: which bag will fit? The regular spare Rockbag is too short to cover that long pointy headstock... (or should I say: a weapon?)
Finally snapped some pics of my Bongo,..along with the MTD fretless I also picked up last week. Stealth 5 is now in the house, the perfect bass for when you're trapped behind enemy lines!!

And i'm having trouble selling my Fender American Standard for 850 shipped/800 local, or even trading for a four string, ANY color bongo.
I have on offer for a lava pearl HH with white ice pickguard. should I trade it?
