What’s up with the ads in threads?

Just today I noticed that ads are now popping up in the middle of threads (between posts). Is anyone else seeing this? There have long been ads at the tops and bottoms of TB threads but the in-the-middle ads are new to me. And no, I don’t want to expand my business to Nigeria. Annoying and invasive in a way that the other ad locations aren’t.

Supporting members have always gotten ads. Gold supporting members get no ads.

Somehow the adds stopped inserting themselves between the classified listings. All’s well that ends well.

Yesterday they were trying to sell me workout programs to get upper body bulk or women’s apparel.

I’m used to the ads in the threads. It was the chopping up of the front pages of the forums that was a bit of a shock.

Much aPpreciation for the updates.

fwiw, I’m now seeing ads for Teisco pedals.

It's the new pop-up video ads that you have to close before you can continue that made me start fussing in public.

Yeah, as noted above, the influx of ads started for me yesterday or the day before.

Hope the site is raking in the money, but they're pretty annoying.

The next time you get a pop-up video ad that roadblocks you, can you send me a screenshot? That shouldn't be happening for logged-in members.

Not for me. They are all over the place. PM's, threads, everywhere. Super distracting. I don't mind some ads at the top of pages or whatever, but they are everywhere for me right now. Attached a screenshot for you. It's weird sized, but you should be able to zoom in and see like three different ads for the same thing within the thread.
