What’s your excuse for missing a note?

there-are-how-shall-one-say-too-many-notes.jpg

So I got rid of one.

I don't sweat it much because I believe in karma. Example-
Led Zep's Rock and Roll. I'm asleep right thru the most famous intro in rock, and forget to come in.
I get good natured ribbing from drummer for that all night.
The next night, drummer says 'Heads up!' and starts Rock and Roll. Just as the bass comes in he traps his stick in his own hi-hat.
Karma!

I have no words...I checked that video and saw some others. Then I remembered watching a Pee Wee movie when I was a kid and I'm sure I found it funny back then. But watching this now just crept me out...I had to laugh at the Mr. T cereal scene from "The breakfast machine".
But geez, what have they been taking?

I just admit I €_/#ed up. It's an unfair standard in my band. Others can crank out clams or otherwise drop the ball all show, but if I quack one out everyone looks right at me a laughs or rolls their eyes, and they give me the business about it on break.
