What are you drinking tonight?

Am I wrong or is that Belerium beer that disgusting 14% stuff?

it's a mere 9%. and it's delerium.

It's incredible beer. Lightly spiced, very crisp, not heavy tasting at all. Goes down very easy - there's no way you'd know it was 9% until you get off the bar stool.

One night (celebrating my enagagement) a friend and I drank our local dive's entire stock of these between the two of us. Apparently it was fun. I don't remember anything past the first bottle.

Sounds like the night of my wedding. Apparently I had 20 shots of whiskey.

Delerium is just such an easy drink. Perfect summer beer, great winter beer, just great.

ah, your "beer scooter" got you home of course

"The beer scooter is a mythical form of transport, owned and leased out to the drunk by Bacchus the Roman god of wine. Bacchus has branched out since the decrease in the worship of the Roman pantheon and bought a large batch of these magical devices. The beer scooter works in the following fashion: The passenger reaches a certain level of drunkenness and the slurring gland begins to give off a pheromone. Bacchus or one of his many sub-contractors detects the pheromone and sends down a winged beer scooter. The scooter scoops up the passenger and deposits them in their bedroom via a trans-dimensional portal.

It is not cheap to run a beer scooter franchise, so a large portion of the passenger's in-pocket cash is taken as payment. This generates the second question after a night out 'How did I spend so much money?'.

Beer scooters have a poor safety record and are thought to be responsible for 90% of all UDI (unidentified drinking injuries). An undocumented feature of the beer scooter is the destruction of time segments during the trip. The nature of trans-dimensional portals dictates that time will be lost, seemingly unaccounted for.

This generates the third question after a night out 'What happened?' With good intentions, Bacchus opted for the EMIT (embarrassing moments in time) add on, that automatically allocates (for removal), in descending order, those parts in time regretted most. Unfortunately one's EMIT is not necessarily the EMIT of another and quite often lost time is regained over a suitable period.

Independent studies have also shown that Beer Goggles cause the scooter's navigation system to malfunction thus sending the passenger to the wrong bedroom often with horrific consequences.

With recent models including a GPS, Bacchus made an investment in a drive-thru chain specialising in half eaten kebabs and pizza crusts. Another question answered.

For the family man, beer scooters come equipped with flowers picked from other people's garden and Thump-A-Lot Boots. These boots are designed in such a way that no matter how quietly you tip-toe, you are sure to wake up your other half. Special anti-gravity springs ensure that you bump into every wall and the CTSGS (coffee table seeking guidance system) explains the bruised shins."

Went out yesterday for "a drink or two". Woke up at four in the afternoon...

About 30 years ago I left work at the Harley dealership with the other mechanic on our motorcycles. He said, "Man, lets stop at Jigger's (a biker bar) for a beer on the way home." I told him, "Rex, we gotta work tomorrow. We can't just have one beer and you know it." He replied, "Aw come on man; let's stop." I woke up the next morning next to my bike in the parking lot using a speed bump for a pillow with Rex about forty feet away snoring...

edit: guess our scooters were not "beer scooters"

I don't mind heavy tasting beer. I tried a bottle of that but it was 14% and it tasted like crap. Like really, I drink black bull 10% and Big 10.1%. I'll even drink a beer with broken glass in it. That beer was TERRIBLE. I took one drink and tossed it.

Hiya,

Tonight it's Lunazul Reposado Tequila and Harp. I know, I shouldn't be mixing alcohol cultures but the tequila was on sale and well, I'm frugal...

It's far from the best Tequila I've had, it ranks with "El Toro", the 8 dollar a bottle stuff, actually, I think I like that better than this one...
