Finally came in:

I just downloaded 'Overcoming Perfectionism: The Key to a Balanced Recovery" for Kindle. It's 127 pages, so I should be able to read it in less than one month. I'll start it tonight.

Unoriginal as it is, A Song of Ice and Fire. Book four - halfway now. Rather a letdown so far, because the high standard of particularly book 2 and 3 (steel and snow in particular, damn George Martin. Damn him!).

I'm about halfway through book two now... It was definitely the show that made me start...

Great books, there's no doubt about it! You are in for a lot of cold showers and a lot of indignation. You're going to love (hate) it!

Edit: Oh, and also, for once in a fantasy work, things won't be so damn clear. I'm rooting for a wholly different team than some who've read the series are, while I know two who thinks the guys I despise (in fact three of the sides at present) are the ****. It's great fun, particularly if you have friends nerd enough to discuss with.

Finally arrived. Mildly interesting, far more sympathetic toward the Dodds than any other of the many accounts of them I've ever read, which have been uniformly derisive. Despite Larson's efforts, the Dodds still come off as extraordinarily bad choices for representing America's interests in prewar Nazi Germany:
