How did this turn out? His account of becoming one of the youngest to summit Mt. Everest was one of the best I've come across. He did a great job of conveying the passion and frustrations faced. So many of the accounts of summitting are entirely technical in nature, so The Kid Who Climbed Everest was quite refreshing.
It's pretty interesting overall. He doesn't go into great detail about too many things, which I found a little disappointing, but I imagine that if he did the book would be 3 times as long (he's packed a LOT into his life!). He spends the most time talking about the SAS and the Everest climb, which are fascinating.
I'd recommend the book to anyone wanting some light but interesting reading.
