I'm only half-joking here.
A student of mine has shown that his talents don't stop at playing music - they extend to BUILDING basses as well. He's up to 3 so far, and each one is a big step over the last.
He's given them three-digit serial numbers (#001, #002, and #003)... so I'm thinking of purchasing the seventh one (when I can afford it and I know just what I want).
But I thought it would make a great thread: What kind of bass do YOU think 007 would have played? Something imminently "Bond... James Bond" and nobody else. Understated, yet wonderfully classy, unique, yet versatile and useable (unlike a bass made out of, say, the skull of a longhorn steer), and the kind of bass that anyone could pick up and say, "wow".
So whaddya think?![]()
james bond? - a jaguar of course![]()
Seriously, I know JB very well, he's not into bass.
I was the first one to bring that up dude.

oh, i`m sorry, but on the other hand we are two now, so we are right![]()
Fixed it for ya.
On a side note, which Bond are we talking about? Connery would definitely be a different choice compared to say Brosnan.
