Had this yesterday at a barbecue and the weather was perfect for it. This is definitely my favorite summer beer.
Just picked that up last night for my BBQ today. I've had all the others but I had to crack the east-west and the saison for a test drive before serving to my guests. I'd agree with your assessments. I liked the Saison over the Kolsh while the wife was the other way around.
I shared the pack with a friend of mine, and we did the same thing. I liked the Saison better and he liked the Kolsh.

I've seen that brand around a few times, but I thought the bottle had a traditional neck?
Right now I'm doing some good ol' fashioned and cheap Yuengling.

IMO even better than Hoegaarden.
Had one of these last Saturday. The Kolsch & Saison were alright, but not nearly as good as some of SAs other seasonal beers (the winter pack has the best ones!).
My favorite from this pack is the Latitude 48.
Also, I traded my fiancee 2 SA Lights for one Summer Ale, and it was worth it! (I didnt drink the Light)

IMO even better than Hoegaarden.
I'll keep an eye out for it. I'm in small town Missouri so I doubt I'll be able to find it here, but there is a liquor store that does specialty orders.
Marston's Oyster Stout. light, subtle flavour with a lot going on. foamy rather than thick. success!
I had a homebrew earlier this afternoon while hanging out in the sun. Named it Samuel L Jackson IPA. "It's my beer!"
Just polished off one of these babies with my pizza for dinner. Nice and bitter with an interesting aftertaste of ever so slightly sweet oak.

It was Rare Stout Night up at Goose Island Clybourn. Atmosphere sucked, but I got to try Uinta Labyrinth, Goose Island Bourbon County Brand Coffee Stout, and Founders Canadian Breakfast Stout. It was a pretty great night for beer.

My cousins came down from Allentown last month, and they're really big on the Belgian brews. They bought a couple packs of this stuff while here, and I'll admit it was pretty tasty. It's a good bit lighter than I'm used to, or at least without as much bite as I'm used to being an IPA kind of guy, but it's tasty nonetheless.
Sam Adams Noble Pils......I stopped to pick up some Newports and while checking out there were three 6-packs of Noble Pils for 3.50 each at the register. I asked why so cheap and she said they were close to expiration date. I checked the lables one pack said for brewery fresh taste, enjoy before month notched which is this month May, the other 2 are notched June...I bought all 3. According to my calculations... 18 Sam Adams @10.50 rounds out to about .58 a bottle. Not bad for Sam Adams and I have drunk 2 so far and they taste fine...not skunkwater yet. 
The wife's family is due over tomorrow for a cookout so I have copious amounts of this fine gem from Costa Rica. I'll be sampling a few tonite for...uh...freshness

I cooked bratwurst in the East-West Kolsh, and I'm having the Rustic Saison right now. Both have a good taste, but do either of you find that the Rustic Saison has a bit of an aftertaste not too unlike that of a sharp cheese?
It's great, but I'm not familiar with this sort of cheese-like aftertaste in other beers.
