What brand has all your loyalty?

If you don't mind me saying, you seem to have some very nice gear in your list. But, as someone who has always used the same RotoSound string set (RS66 LCs, 40 - 95) since, well, pretty much forever, might I ask why you favour five different string types? I expect that there is a very pragmatic reason for this (e.g. varying bass and style combinations), but then again, I am curious (and most likely wrong). Thanks in advance.
Ibanez guitars and basses, Peavey amps for both.
Never let me down, always a good value for $$$, and they do what I tell them to do with no complaints or weirdness.
Besides being a working musician I've been a pro soundman for over 30 years so I get to participate in other player's struggles and successes with their choices. And since I do repairs and setups I also get intimate firsthand experience with many different brands of instruments and amps, etc.

There are 3 brands of basses I am loyal to...schecter, Ibanez, and Yamaha. a few years ago, I've tried out many different basses and I have decided to stick with these brands as 3 of my main brand of bass guitars because they make some of the best bass guitars I've ever played. if I can add one more, it would most likely would be dean because I do like their edge basses. here are the basses I like from these brands.
Schecter stiletto
Ibanez sound gear
Yamaha bb/trbx
Dean edge
Speaking of basses, I do plan on buying a new bass sometime soon. I plan to get a yamaha trbx505. this is my most wanted bass guitar. and I was also thinking of purchasing one more after buying the trbx bass. and I am debating on which one to get. those basses would be either the schecter stiletto stealth 5, the Ibanez sr305e, or the dean edge 1 6-string bass(if it's still in stock).

I love all the Leo Fender brands. Fender, MusicMan, G&L. But, if I pick one, it is MusicMan.
Not strictly loyal, but In a practical sense I almost only desire for in
Bass: Fender, some Gibson
Electric guitar: Gibson, some Fender
Acoustic guitar: Has been Gibson, but going forward I think I’m gonna just go for whatever sounds/feels/looks good and doesn’t cost too much
Strings, I’m more "set in my ways" than passionately loyal:
Bass and electric guitar strings: D’Addario XL Nicklewounds
Fretless bass: LaBella Flexible Flats
Acoustic guitar strings: DR Sunbeams
Amps, I love my now old SWR bass amp, but they’re not around anymore, so I’m not loyal to anyone now
Guitar amps: not loyal
Bass pedals: I favor MXR (can’t say "loyal", but they’re usually my default brand if I’m looking for something and nothing else is jumping out at me)
Guitar pedals: all over the place
Drums: I really want a Gretsch set
Bass: Fender, some Gibson
Electric guitar: Gibson, some Fender

Since I've noticed amps on some of the posts, there are 2 amps I am loyal to. those amps are gallien-krueger and hartke. those bass amps are by far two of the best bass amps I've ever tried out. I like gk for it's beefy versatility. and hartke I've always like for it's flexible punchy sounds. best of all, they sound killer with distortion. \m/
None. If I like it, I'll play it. It's not like the companies are loyal to me.
Orange -- Pedals, Heads, Cabs

I have a few (4) Orange pedals, Orange Guitar combo (guitar), just not an Orange O Bass or actual Orange bass cabs (still using Ampeg). Will upgrade my rig to Orange one day And will get one of those O basses soon, most likely.
Seriously though, Orange is the sound in my head, and nothing comes close IMHO, nor do I need to spend (any more) time trying other brands.

Their instruments are top notch
And I miss their amplifier lines.
The R600 combo I had and the LB70P could go from Geezer Butler to Fieldy
It wasnt until I went to other brands that I realized how premier Carvin is.

My loyalty is to me. I'll play the best sounding gear and the best fit I can find and afford. But I have long term relationships with gear, 53 years with Fender, 8 years with Ampeg and Mesa Boogie, 8 years with Bergantino, 10 years with Aguilar, 10 years with Mike Lull, 14 years with Thunderfunk and 6 years with Barefaced and Sadowsky.
Sadly ageing involves evolving criteria, so what was wonderful 10 years ago isn't always a good fit today. These days my ball park is usually FSO's, 500 - 800watt amps and multiple 112 cabs of less than 25lbs.

I'm open to any brand, but Yamaha has been consistently good for guitars, basses, drums, and of course keyboards since I started playing guitar in the 70s.
My current Yamaha ownership includes a BBP34 bass, two acoustics, an electric piano, and a YZ motorcycle that I race in hare scrambles! Braaaapppp!
