Two come to mind:
I've owned various models of Ibanez basses, on and off, for 45 years. They have consistently been very good quality and very reasonably priced. I also like that Ibanez continues to innovate. I currently own 4 Ibanez basses.
Also, I've been thoroughly impressed by Tech 21 Sansamp products, for both guitar and bass.

I don't know if it's loyalty but I've found my sound with Gibson + Gallien-Krueger and I've no reason to look for anything else, but I'm not against trying other gear...

Man, I was just looking at some fgn's right now they have a sweet new green and blue Mighty power version.
Anyway I was just thinking that what if FGN made their version of a music man??? That's something I probably would buy in an instant!
It’s changed over the years for me. First it was Fender, then Rickenbacker, then back to Fender for many years. Then it was EBMM, then to Spector, then to Modulus, to Roscoe, to Ristola, and now I’m back to Spector.

But ya gotta mangia. I'm part Sicilian from my mother's side, make my own sauce religiously (her recipe, natch). But sometimes, I want pasta without simmering it overnite Saturday for Sunday dinner, and I open one of these killers, warm it up, load some over some farfalle, rigatoni, or spaghetti with a little pecorino romano, and it's exceptional, and this from someone who'd rather drop dead than use 'jar sauce'. Hey, hand me the garlic bread, and get me a Peroni while you're in there !
Basses ? Just whatever I like.

Hipshot and EMG. Not that I don't like other stuff, but those two have always met my expectations.
Too many good ones available, and there are duds in every line. But I'd probably go with Sadowsky-NYC if I had to stick with one.
Jerry Jones Guitars- got a bass and electric U3 style guitar. Want a 6 string longhorn bass, but you can hardly find them, and when you do, $$$$$!
The bass, a longhorn, is my main gigging and recording bass. Always sounds great, no matter where I use it. I have a really nice Rick, a cool Gibson EB0 from the 60's, and an old Hagstrom 1 bass... All of them are awesome, but always need some tweaking depending on where I am playing to sound exactly right. The JJ always sounds right without having to tweak anything.

I'm not one for brand loyalty, but I try to support Ibanez whenever I can. I like that they're a huge company, but that they still like to take a risk or two (see: EHB, SRMS, SRH) just in the name of bringing innovation to a larger public.
