Are "Bronies" still a thing?!
I first heard about them a few years ago, but I was hoping the dubious trend would be over by now...Apparently, learned about them here: I've seen lots of things but I've never seen this...
Power Washing...
Is it an American thing?
I power washed a stretch of concrete path today, and it occurred to me that, depending on your view of the World, power washing is the easiest job you can do...and one that never ends.
Finish the path (with your favorite beverage in your off hand)...and here come the stairs, followed by the porch, and another beverage...
It might never end!
I used enough fresh water to keep a small village afloat for a week!
It’s fun...instant gratification... but I don’t think it’s the right thing to do.
Where does the water go? Think it through.
Mmmmmm, symmetrically stacked subs...subs on one side of my symetrically placed stacks
Exactly, that’s my point. Unless you live in an area with limited clean water resources or are adding pollutants, you’re not taking it out of the environment. It’ll end up in the water table again. The Water Cycle...

Thank you, Stan.] and their conversation.’ Truth is a property of our beliefs. It is what we aim at, and is essentially connected to our practices of enquiry, action and evaluation. Truth, in other words, is the best that we could do.
They're asking, "Is Your Gut Making You Depressed or Anxious?"… Invalid Link Removed that …our [food] cravings may actually be caused by …our gut bacteria. Apparently there’s a crowd of trillions in there that really likes chocolate cupcakes, bacon, cheese, or whatever it is …our specific bacteria run on.
The theory goes like this: when we eat the foods our bacteria want, they produce particles that are small enough to cross the blood-brain barrier, like tyrosine or tryptophan, which, as luck would have it, get converted into dopamine and serotonin in the brain, both of which impact mood and reinforce those food choices. …
[For many, t]here’s still a long way to go, but someday, perhaps the way to unwind may not be with a bottle of beer, but with a container of your favorite yogurt.
No course you don't, they all left when the fences were down.I see, you have my sympathies. We had to deal with that stuff at my Mom's place in Iowa. Finally had to redo all the fences and it was kind of epic.
Except we don't have elk, of course.
