Today I learned, right here on the TB, that my nickname is evidently "Turbo".

I was going to ask if they hit the "b" by accident while meaning to hit the "d" but I won't. Instead, I liked the post.

Having thick skin on your left hand fingertips helps prevent BIG problems when that extra-sharp knife you used to cut the doggie vitamin in half for the little guy....slices into your left middle finger tip the night before a gig.

Another millimeter or few and we'd have a bloody counter top, bloody paper towel, and either liquid skin or Crazy Glue gel for a fingertip for the show tomorrow.

Working in the glass industry did that for me.
