What did you learn today?

My thoughts don't hold much water. I'm only a bandwagon Cavs fan and not much of a(n) NBA fan at all. I'd say it's gone down hill since Bird and Magic.
I'm more of a college hoops fan, but I watched all of tonight's Thunder/Warriors game and thought it was quite thrilling (even though the wrong team won ). I'll be rooting for Cleveland if the Thunder (as I expect) lose Game 7.

I learned that we are not only going to see Blair Crimmins And The Hookers this coming Friday evening...

we're ALSO going to see The Milk Carton Kids the following Saturday night!

HOLYSHIPHOLYSHIPHOLYSHIP!

Today, I learned that it is entirely possible for an engine to form ice crystals on it while running. Coolest thing ever.

And as an addition to that previous statement, E85 makes a V8 sound healthy. And gives it about 50 extra HP. Between racecars and the bass, I've got earth shaking noises down pat. Here's a couple of shots of my brother's racecar that I perform pit crew duties on.

That is Beyond Cool!
I used to be 'the voice' of a great lil dirt track that attracted racers and crews from all over Georgia every Saturday night. The sound was, in fact, Gut Rumblin'!
...most fun I ever had with my clothes on... :roflmao:

He's raced since he was ten years old. Moved up to Late Models this year (crate engine). It's been a learning curve for us. I do everything I can to help him, but he knows things I could never dream to. He tells me what he wants or needs me to do, and I either tell him yes or no based on lap times. Haven't made it to victory lane this year, but he won 6 heats and a handful of features last year, so he knows what he's doing. Since I'm not gigging regularly, it gives me something to do on a Friday or Saturday night.

Luck not needed, but appreciated.
I heard the same thing (not from you) last year. ;)
I have also heard repeatedly how the SFGiants don't have a chance at beating .... in the playoffs, or beating ... in the series.
It stared when the Giants played the Phillies in the playoffs in 2010. Lots of commentators and other folks talking about how the Phillies were going to match up against the Yankess in the World Series. I remember thinking "I think you have to play some games against the Giants before that." This has been going on for some time and now it is the same with the Dubs. Forgive me if I have a bit of a chip on my shoulder.

Well, the Cavs were missing Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving last year. I have to admit I've never seen a team that can hit threes at will like the Warriors. It will be a good finals.
