I have 3 (younger) sisters whom I worship and adore...each in their own way.

My whole adult life, I’ve wondered what it would be to have a brother.

...someone who Always has my back...Always has my best interest in the middle of his heart...someone to beat the crap out of regularly without risking our friendship!

...and now I know. :thumbsup:

Haha! Yeah, I've only got the one younger sister, but my best friend from high school is truly my brother-from-another-mother. Ma WInslow loves him just as much as if that were a point of fact. Whenever we talk on the phone at the holidays, I always say, "Now call your other mother," and you know what? He does. :thumbsup:

Today I was reminded that I was painting a corner of our new bedroom, in our new house, a happy shade of green, when NPR lead All Things Considered with the slaughter at Columbine High School.
That was 22 years ago today.

I could take you to the spot where I was kneeling...brush in one hand, coffee can in the other.
I felt the Earth move under my knees.
