I was on the trains early Sat morning. The expected 1 hr train ride to the airport took nearly 5hrs due to flooding closing line at Bardwell Park. Luckily for me, the plane was also delayed 2hrs so I did make it.Every reservoir within cooee's overflowing or is about to.

I learned that I really enjoy watching Ballet. I had never been to a performance before, but was kind of interested in it for many years. My wife and I went to see a performance of Sleeping Beauty yesterday, and it was beautiful. Such incredibly talented dancers, both men and women, wonderfully in sync with Tschaikowsky's music. Definitely will attend future performances now.
I just googled (so I accept rebuttal) and learned that deliberately made alcoholic beverages are as old as 9000 years.
While driving my newly acquired '09 Camry to work yesterday, the low tire pressure warning light gave me a false alarm - tire pressures were all good. While researching the problem, I learned of the federal mandate that modern cars have to have these monitoring systems. After performing the reset procedure, the warning light is still lying. I'm not in a rush, but I guess I'll eventually take it to a dealer for diagnosis and repair. It will be useful when functional.
That is the reason I had mine removed from my Toyota....
Drive and live with much less stress.
But keep picking up nails in my tires....Grrrrrr!!!
I beleive that one of the motion sensors that turn on the battery for the pressure sensor was stuck. The false alarm light has gone out.

Do you ever wonder who first thought of Hellmann's Mayonnaise?
When he was 14 years old, Richard Hellmann worked as an apprentice at his local food market in Germany. He emigrated to the United States in the early 1900s and settled in New York, where he met his wife Margaret, the daughter of two deli owners. Richard and Margaret opened Hellmann’s Delicatessen in 1913. In 1920, Richard began creating his own mayonnaise from scratch and selling it at their Manhattan shop. In the early 1920s, he sold two versions of the recipe. To distinguish between them, Richard put a blue ribbon on one. The ribbon version became so popular that Richard created the now-iconic “Blue Ribbon” label and placed it on larger glass jars to meet demand. In 1927, Postum Foods acquired Hellmann’s. Despite also acquiring the West Coast mayonnaise brand Best Foods a few years later, the company continued producing both products due to Hellmann’s massive popularity. Hellmann’s went on to become one of the best-selling and most well-known mayonnaise brands in the United States. Then in the 1960s, the brand entered the European market. In the 1970s, Hellmann’s was introduced in five new countries around the world — Portugal, Spain, Brazil, Argentina, and Colombia. The well-known taglines “Bring out the Hellmann’s” and “Bring out the best” were both coined in 1987. In 2000, Unilever acquired Hellmann’s. In 2014, new squeeze-bottle packaging was introduced alongside the traditonal jar-style packaging. In 2016, the brand even launched a vegan, gluten-free version of their beloved product called Hellmann’s Vegan Dressing & Spread! In 2020, Hellmann's transitioned to using food-safe recycled plastic packaging, and in 2021, the company launched a Make Taste, Not Waste campaign in the United States to help address the growing food waste problem. A year later, a new product called Spicy Mayonnaise was launched. Today, Hellmann’s is one of the most well-known and beloved mayonnaise brands in America as well as in many countries all around the world.

I have another fiddle on the way — one a little more contemporary, and the maker's Chinese. This'll give me an easier grounding and shelter the old French one from the ravages of my early explorations. Big loss. He hasn't been too active here since he originally got sick and I have missed him. As a mod he was firm but fair and encouraging. We had a several great talks via P.M. At one time he tried to get me an others to donate for a membership for an Islamic or Hindu woman he knew. It was at a time when I had started the Jesus Freak thread in the lobby. Bill thought it would be great to hear from someone from another culture/religion. I was willing to help but she didn't do it , I think she was fearful about how people would react.We have lost BASSYBILL.

These days, production floats around 306 million rubber tyres every year.
