What do you do with your Tweeter?

I like mine on at least halfway up . It helps me hear myself with the band a little better and keeps my playing honest . Anything the tweeter reproduces the PA horns are going to amplify too .

Gotta have some tweeter. Cannot have a tweeterless cab. I prefer a full range sound and a good tweeter helps me cut. I think with tweeters it comes down to good technique. But some people prefer a deep, undefined bass tone so to each his own.

So I think my tweeter was blown - it was farting out like crazy...I disconnected it last night and the farting is gone...

Is it harmful at all to disconnect the tweeter completely? Does it mess with Ohms/Impedance/Wattage, etc???

Sorry for the NOOB question...just wanna make sure it's ok to run my amp back the way it was w/out the tweeter now...

Agreed. For what I do, I need full range reproduction. I could NEVER do what I do with a middy rock tone or dub tone. It's dead simple to roll off the instrument preamp treble on the fly to get those tonez. I keep mine "flat."

As long as you make sure the disconnected wire can't short out on anything, you won't hurt anything by disconnecting a tweeter....
