No pop in the signal when it goes on or comes off, easy to read, and it's built like a brick. My favorite tuner ever.

I used to have a rack mount - hated it.. sucked rack space.. really didn't accomplish much... sold it.
I put a drawer in the rack mount tuner's place.. I have a peterson strobe in there for accuracy...
I also own a seiko.. small korg... cheap fender.
All of them work as long as they don't have an analog vu meter.

I've used rack tuners and pedal tuners. For me, nothing beats the simple functionality of having a tuner/mute at my feet. A Korg Pitchblack is my tuner of choice.
While I think that no other piece of gear is as technically misunderstood and comprehensively overestimated as the electronic tuner (witness some comments in this thread), I'm still going to go for the rack tuner for two reasons only:
1: It's easier to see.
2: It's harder to trip over.
"Accuracy" (more precisely, "the illusion of accuracy") is trivial compared to these two considerations.

As I posted earlier that's actually my main reason against having a tuner housed in a pedal. It means that I have less space and less power outputs available for effects.pedal tuner, simply because you can never have too many pedals
I used rack mounts for a long time... only recently switching to a Boss TU .. and I prefer a stompbox now.
Having a Mute on the board without taking up a loop space is nice.
Not having to turn around and walk back to the amp to tune is nice.

"Accuracy" (more precisely said:an interesting perspective to say the least, but i'm sure it's one that my bandmates would hate if i adopted
with that said, why intonate or tune at all ?
all of the players i know, when tuning is concerned, tuning by ear is NOT good enough, & cheap tuners with very loose tolerances are also not good enough

I Just went From a Korg DTR-2000 and Get a Pitch Black. Honestly I don't See a Difference Both Tune Very well. I just Wanted TO get Ride of all my rack stuff and have it all on pedals.
Pedal board A lot easier to gig around then A 4 space rack with my SVT classic and Pedals.
