It was around this time last year when he last sold a copy... maybe he's a seasonal seller?
I'm just going to say that I'm working on a new Duck Dunn book because of this.
Tindall did self-publish the book. I don't think that book will be released any more, and I'm working hard to finish my book. Hal Leonard is pushing for it to be released on May 1st, so I'm just finishing up another long session sitting at the library.
*The cost will be more reasonable.
*The format is more like "Standing in the Shadows of Motown."
*We actually used live musicians to play the backing tracks. I'm doing the majority of the bass parts, playing Duck's '59 on most of the tracks, and Will Lee is doing two tracks as we speak.
The Amazon link to the book is in my signature.
Here's the last time I took a screenshot of these ridiculous prices, taken about two weeks ago:
Awesome, just pre-ordered.
Awesome! I put it on my list.
I'll pre order, where's the link?
Author of "Soul Fingers: The Life and Music of Legendary Bassist Donald 'Duck' Dunn"
Yeah, sorry. I forgot that the signatures don't show if you're looking from your phone.
No problem, I pre ordered as well. Looking forward to it!
Pre-ordered the new book!
Any updates on where/how to get printing of "What Duck Done?"
Any suggestions where to get a copy?
There's a copy on Amazon for $20,000.
I almost popped for it, but bristled at the $3.99 postage.
