What happened to TB?

I learn a ton from TB each week if not daily.

- Thread sizes on my odd truss rod nut. (Re-)Read about ski jump (or just setup).
- Discussed gear and lutherie related allergies.
- Playing style topics.
- Shared thoughts on a new piece of music shared by a TBer.
- Found out my combo had special foam insulation.
- Bought a bunch of parts for my project bass.
- AND had some bass fan OT humor.

And that's just this week.

Now before you point out that I am a new user consider that maybe YOU are just not engaging with the site the way you used to. Many of us clearly love the tone and content of the site today.

Right....you got it!

TB is supposed to be for friendly advice (that's the way it was), not about everyone who can make some sort of sarcastic remark when given the opportunity
I agree with you!Whole lot of unemployed comedians that constantly "run to the joke"instead of either giving some helpful advice or just saying nothing.
Like that "Click and Clack Car Talk"show.

What happened to TB? I remember when this forum was filled with knowledgeable experienced bassist that could give good advice and opinions.

This forum has turned into a Facebook alternative for a bunch of halve ass players that post comments that don't know what the "F" there talking about.....what happened?

I'd hate to be a new member and not know how cool this place use to be.......

Why are you telling us your problems?
