No. I like Lowdown, and had heard it a few times in the last month because I was trying to learn the bass part, but had to listen to it again just now to even remember how the guitar solo goes.And...would THIS be one of them?:

If the solo in a cover version has the same general vibe I doubt most audience members would pick up on any differences. And even if it were deliberately significantly different I think that could work fine and I doubt you'd have people walking out in protest.
