These tube hats are cool, but it concerns me a little that they may be part asbestos. They are similar material to what was found in Chem labs for cradling hot flasks and distillers, through the 1990s. They are original to this very clean 1971 amp. I suppose that wearing a hat made out of asbestos is pretty manly though.

And with respect to its countryman, the HiWatt, it's just like two Green Street hooligans from different footie clubs. Not sure who would win the brawl, but they would beat the crap out of each other. Both are manly.
