Ken Smith Slicks on my P-J Ibanez Musician
Ken Smith Compressors on my H-H EMG-equipped Ibanez Musician

Hey, KS strings were on sale so I bought a few sets. I like the sound a fair amount, too. I'd like to try TI Jazz Flats someday, but these will have to do until then.

My Ibanez SR900 came with elixir nanowebs and this is my first bass so i dont really have anything to compare them to(Sound wise).

My only problem is where i use a pick, the "nanoweb" coating is peeling off and looks stuipid. Its purely cosmetic but it still enrages me

don't rule out exploring many other strings, too. These just happen to be my current favorites. I have many more to try.

I just moved to Arizona and I found a killer store called THE BASS PLACE.

They have tons of strings, so I'll certainly get my fill

I use Rotosound RS66 on my Stingray bass. The strings felt a bit rough at first. But once my fingers got used to it, my bass sounded pretty good. These are versatile strings that complimented the tone of my bass.
