The categories don't make complete sense for me - gigging regularly, but as I'm a church musician, making money at it is not part of the equation. Actually, taking the money out of music is a huge positive to me - everyone is there because they want to be, ad the egos are not really a problem.

Smoke on the Water is not that easy :(
The problem some players have with Smoke on the Water is that they don't take it seriously. They roll their own eyes when they play it, almost like they're embarrassed to be playing something many of us learned when we were 15.

You can't phone it in. You have to sell it and play it like you mean it. Yes it's simple and yes it's easy, but it's a great song with a great groove. Play it well, and your audience will love it.
