Got mine today and played a bunch of basses thru it.
A Warwick Flashback, 69 P bass, Alembic Essence and 65 Gibson EBO with flats.
Each one, after adjusting knobs, sounded great!
What I'm really happy with is how versatile this simple layout is.
One thing that took me a second was that the level control only effects the distortion signal.
So far, a Great pedal!
Small format. Big sound!

The Gibson really benefited from this pedal.
Brought it to life with a very knarley, blustery dirt.
So far I like the Era knob all the way counterclockwise, gain at sbout 2 oclock with about half the clean blended in.

No. The level only boosts the distortion part.
The clean remains about unity with the incoming signal.
So you can't use the pedal very well for a clean boost if that makes sense.

Just like with the B3K: clean signal volume remains at the natural, bypass volume.
Level knob controls the amount of dirty signal being blended with the clean one
.
That being said, lowering the gain all the way and using just the Era knob gives lots of useful lower gain tones. And they can be boosted!

Oh yeah, I like that you can get it pretty clean Drive-wise, yet there's enough headroom to boost the Level up!
I could get a pretty good tone matching with the Drive set at minimum and adjusting the ERA knob... that way you can get a pretty natural and transparent boost, yet with a bit of tubey grit to it.
Try it!
