What Will Squier Do Next?

How about P Bass Elite II series? Double P bass pickups, fine tuning bridge...:hyper:
I owned an original one and loved it!

This is a bass I would like to see Squire reissue as I have heard it wasn't the best fender in the world and Squire may be able to improve on it maybe. Although I was tempted on a minter on ebay a couple of months ago. I would try a Squire Aerodyne and I also read about them changing the name from squire. As Squire are making better quality guitars now I would go for a name change. But thats just me

Yeah, let's rename it Squier. Oh wait ...

Hopefully, stop producing so much crap! If they were the only bass available, I would find another instrument to play.

I see a lot of people talking about how great they are. I tried one at Guitar Center today. The fret job so bad that the wire was sticking out on almost every fret. I slid up the neck and sliced two of my fingers open.

A Jazz Special wouldn't be difficult to make... They already had basswood bodies (at least the one I had did), and P/J pups with no pickgaurd. The oneI had had a TBX tone circuit and a pup switch, it was black...

Which would make it a "Squier CV '80s Jazz Bass Special"

I'd like to see a P Bass Plus reissue with the original "boner" body style (extended upper horn), fine tuning bridge (best bridge fender ever made) and with a 5 string option.
Like the original P bass Plus it should be a PJ layout with active/passive switching and a mid boost push button.
I'd hit that for $600!

PS....
Could they also make the Squier logo removable and sell a stick-on Fender logo for those of us to still have a Fender inferiority complex. Or maybe even a Squier logo spelled Squire just to confound the masses.:smug:

Cool story bro!

I would like to see a 6 string Jazz, and something similar to the Big Block P or whatever that bass was called.
