What Will Squier Do Next?

Probably a CV Jazz in a different color.Maybe just more colors without any other substantial changes to to both the CV P&J

Perhaps, kinda like the new amber VM Precision was more or less (except for the change in body wood) just a new color scheme. What about either a blonde or sunburst finish for the CV '51 P? Or perhaps a lefty version of whatever is their best selling bass after the VM Jazz.

Forget new models, they should kill the Squier name for the Classic Vibe and Vintage Modified models and make those part of the Fender Standards. :)

I'm sure there are still a lot of players who avoid the Squier name.
They really are great values but still, I remember when "Squier" was associated with "crap" and part of me just can't let that go.

Ok, maybe I am beyond that, really what's in a name? But that logo is just so ugly - the Squier name just doesn't look good in that script style, it's always bugged me!!! :)

Probably wouldn't hurt to make those models the new Standards and kill their current Standard line. I feel those are a bit over priced especially when you compare to the Squier VM/CV. And just leave the Affinity version under Squier.

Bad idea, IMO.

OK - I'm behind the curve on this one too. [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

Is that NOT a 6-string bass or am I missing a subtle nuance here?

When the 'I' comes behind the 'V' in Roman Numerals, (VI) that is a 6 - right?

'Cause if the 'I' comes in front, (IV) that makes it a 4 if I'm not mistaken - so I am confused.

This is worse than Chinese Algebra. I need a pill now.

The Jaguar VI is just a guitar tuned down an octave, so it's EADGBe but with the low E being the same pitch as the low E on a 4 string bass.
