What would be your ideal jazz bass?

If you had the chance to design your own jazz bass what would be loaded with? What would it look like?

blue, black, red? active or passive? which bridge? etc....

Either Satin Black or Olympic White, with a Tort PG and Ebony FB, or else Olive green with cream PG and maple FB, and matching painted headstock. Same active EMG P & J pups as Vic Wooten's Fodera. Comes in fretted and fretless. Medium Jumbo frets, Oh, and I've got pretty small hands so it's a 32 inch scale.

Id like a natural Marcus Miller 5 string type jazz, without the gawd ugly pick guard. Active 3 band eq.

Black, '70s spacing, maple board & black blocks, BAII, '62 RI neck profile, '62 RI pups, stack knobs with a white pickgaurd.

Steel or Graphite reinforced J neck with rosewood fret board, 34" scale, 4 string graphite nut.

Alder or Ash P body.

2 hum cancelling J pickups with 2 500K volume pots and Fender TBX tone control.

Gotoh vintage style reverse tuning machines (28:1), Gotoh vintage style bridge.

Solid black or transparent grey body with matching headstock/neck.

So far, Warmoth has fit the bill.

BAII bridge, aguilar 60's pickups, hipshot tuners

probably V-V-T-T passive electronic...

Done and done.

Doesn't mean I don't want a Deluxe Active and a Fretless, though!

Mine would be an ash body (with killer grain visible) finished in a translucent dark cherry/midnight wine color, without a pickguard. It'd have Fralin pickups wired volume/blend/tone and a Babicz bridge. My ideal Jazz would be slung with Dunlop straplocks and strung with R. Cocco nickel rounds. The neck would be the bound and blocked one off my current Jazz, an '08 MIM '70s Classic. It would have Hipshot lightweight lollipop keywinds, and a roller-style tree.

Ideally, it would not cost me a dime.

Lakland Joe Osborn 5 with East J-Retro electronics and Fralin pickups. Ash body. 35-inch scale. Neck binding, MOP blocks, and white pearloid pickguard would be nice. Oh, I'd like it to be pink, please.
