Whatcha watching?

At my younger brother's suggestion, we started "The Punisher" series on Disney+. It's very good. We're really liking it.

EDIT: So you know, we watched most of the other Marvel shows when they were on Netflix: Daredevil (good), Jessica Jones (excellent!), Iron Fist (bad), The Defenders (okay). We never watched Luke Cage, though. Any opinions there?
Jessica Jones was indeed excellent! Luke Cage was also quite good. I think, since you enjoyed Jessica Jones, you're gonna like Luke Cage as well.

This is a great. Easily the best Predator. Most people don't know this movie exists. Swap out the characters and keep the same tone and I'd watch another ten of these. It's good stuff. Predators hunting in the jungle. Just enough characters and story to hold things together.

Watched film Harold and Maude (1971). Quirky comedy drama. Good to see again and also listen to the Cat Stevens soundtrack.

Started on Season 4 (final season) of Snowpiercer on AMC and AMC+.

Gonna give Orphan Black: Echoes a shot. Absolutely engrossed in the first series (2013). But watching previews of Echoes, it looks like a different tone I may not like. Not much hope, but could be surprised.

Found a film online I hadn't seen in decades. The Last Valley (1971) with Michael Caine and Omar Sharif. Don't remember much about it, just that I liked it. I don't care to watch films online, but I'll try some night when ain't nothin' goin' on.

Watched the first 5 episodes of Orphan Black: Echoes. It's a very different tone than the original series. Just my opinion, the original was great and Echoes rates about mediocre to good. Despite the difference, it's good enough in it's own way. As this story is in the same universe and set 37 years later than the original, there are tie-ins between the two. I'm recording the remainder of this season as there were only 5 episodes immediately available.

Ever since I figured out I could watch YouTube vids on the big screen in the living room, I barely watch anything else.

I watch a lot of cooking videos, and I ran across Pasquale Sciarappa from his ORSARA RECIPES YouTube channel. I wanna be this guy when I grow up:

And while searching for Texas recipes from my kid days growing up there, I ran across Cowboy Kent Rollins, one hell of a trail cook. Want to know how to make dead perfect chicken fried steak? Ask an Oklahoma cowboy, particularly THIS one:

Plus Kent has exhaustive how-to's about cooking and maintaining cast-iron cookware.
