Whatcha watching?

I have cable included in my condo HOA fees, but alot of people don't know about the antenna hack, if you don't have cable.

I hooked up a $20 antenna from Target and get about 20 stations. Saved By The Bell is on every Sunday on MeTV.

Still have power, despite the Debby storm, so yay! LOL Lazy day for us, complete with Hurricane Day Drinking, so, yeah...:)

Watched an old noir called They Live by Night (1948). Really enjoyed. Drama tragedy.

Also watched Flying Leathernecks (1951) starring John Wayne. Haven't seen it in awhile, cool to watch again. An actor in this film, Jay C. Flippen, played a Master Tech Sargent and played an escaped criminal in They Live by Night.

Started a Spanish series (dubbed in English) today on Amazon Prime called Red Queen. The 'smartest woman in the world teams up with ex-cop' type thing has been done before, but I like the way this story's being told. 3 more episodes to watch.

Also finished up a spot fret leveling/crowning on a bass, re-setup for lower action, and noodled alot. Cool day overall.

All Olympics, all the time. Great stuff. The woman from Homer Alaska RAN OFF with the cycling gold - she started her sprint two KM from the end, and the rest of the field just watched her pull away. They didn't even try to catch her. She was around 30 seconds or half a KM ahead when she finished!! Never seen a finish like that before; she blew the rest of the field away.

Spoke too soon. 2 hours after posting, lost power for 14 hours LOL. Fortunately overcast and cooler this morning as opposed to a clear, hot, humid Florida day.

I didn't fully prep. Forgot to get a new charger (old one crapped out last year) for our phones and E-cigs. Well, failure is always our best teacher LOL. Wife and I are going shopping for one this week, 'cause there's another disturbance in the Atlantic. Frakkin' hurricanes...

I'll be suffering from serious Olympics withdrawal when it's over.

I really enjoy "Collector's Call" on MeTV.

The show features a lot of very cool collections. And the host, Lisa Whelchel, best known as "Blair" from "The Facts of Life," looks like she has taken very good care of herself over the years.
